Wood Elf Realms army builder
Last updated:
The Wood Elf Realms are the skirmishing army of Warhammer: The Old World. Their list is in Forces of Fantasy. Instead of big blocks, a Wood Elf army uses fast, fragile units that shoot, move and pick their fights: glade guard archers, scouts, glade riders and wild riders. Forest spirits like dryads and treekin add tougher bodies, and spellsingers bring magic tied to the woods. Wood Elves rarely want a long fair fight. They thin the enemy with arrows and strike where it's weak. The tension is staying power. Pile on archers and you may lack anything that can hold a charge. Pile on spirits and you lose the speed that wins games. Order of Battle supports the Grand Army plus two Armies of Infamy: Orion's Wild Hunt, led by the forest king, and the Host of Talsyn, a steadier, more conventional elf force.
