Grand Cathay is the eastern empire of Warhammer: The Old World. Its rules come from Games Workshop's Grand Cathay supplement. A Cathayan army mixes disciplined jade warriors and crane gunners with powerful war machines and leaders said to have dragon blood. Its magic is about keeping two opposing forces in balance, and the army rewards keeping its units supporting each other. Players tend to build around a strong infantry line backed by artillery, with cavalry or a dragon character for the decisive blow. Many players see it as a strong army right now. Order of Battle supports the Grand Army plus two Armies of Infamy: the Jade Fleet and the Warriors of the Wind Field. Check every points value against your book, since Cathay content is newer than most catalogues.
